WBPSC releases notification for clerkship recruitment 2023; Applications begin on Dec 8 at wbpsc.gov.in – Times of India
The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released the notification for WBPSC Clerkship recruitment 2023 today, December 4. The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies for lower division assistant or clerk positions in Secretariat, Directorates, District offices, and other regional offices.
According to the notification released by the WBPSC on its official website wbpsc.gov.in, eligible candidates will be able to apply for the recruitment drive December 8 onwards.

According to the notification, registrations are set to begin on December 08, 2023 on the official website www.wbpsc.gov.in.
Candidates will be allowed to register till the deadline of December 29, 2023.
However, the registration fee can be paid till December 30, 2023.
Although there has been no specific date announced for the recruitment examination, it is indicated that tentatively, the exam will be held in June 2024.
Eligibility
To be eligible for online application in WBPSC Clerkship Recruitment 2023, candidates should have successfully completed the Madhyamik Examination/10th from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any State Board or CBSE. Additionally, candidates must possess basic computer operation skills with a typing speed of 20 words per minute in English or 10 words per minute in Bengali.
Age requirement

Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) at https://wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Under the candidate’s corner section, click on “Current Applications” on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page appears on the screen. Click on the link reading “Apply online for the post of Clerk under advt no. 13/2023.
Step 4: Click on Online Registration and enter your name, other details, valid mobile number, and email id.
Step 5: A unique application ID and password will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 6: Sign in using the Applicant ID/ Enrollment ID and Password.
Step 7: Enter your education details and other required information.
Step 8: Upload your scanned photographs and signature in the proper format as mentioned in the instructions.
Step 9: Pay the application fee in online mode and click on the submit button.
Step 10: Download the WBPSC Clerkship Application forms and take a printout for future reference.
Selection process
The selection process for WBPSC Clerkship consists of three parts. First, there’s Part-I, which is an Objective Type test. Next is Part-II, involving a Conventional Type Written examination. Finally, candidates will undergo a Typing Test.
