Atishi Mandates Weekly School Inspections to Ensure Essential Student Facilities – Times of India
NEW DELHI: On Monday, Education Minister Atishi ordered all deputy directorates of education (DDEs) to conduct weekly inspections of schools within their areas to confirm the availability of essential facilities. This decision follows reports of students sitting on the floor due to a shortage of desks at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in Dilshad Garden, as stated in an official release. The minister has also ordered disciplinary measures against the school, it said.
