NEW DELHI: 1,307 students under the children with special needs (CWSN) category have been selected in the first round of draw of lots for entry-level admission to private schools in Delhi. According to data shared by the Directorate of Education (DoE) on Thursday, the selection was done through a computerised draw for pre-school, KG, and Class-1 curricula. The department said the selected children’s families would receive messages informing them about their allotted schools and the locations where their documents will be verified. Delhi to Launch Winter Survey to Enroll Out-of-School Children, Including Those with Special Needs – Times of India
शिक्षा विभाग श्रावस्ती NEW DELHI: The Delhi Directorate of Education has formed 246 teams to identify out-of-school children (OoSC) during the winter vacation and facilitate their enrollment in schools. In a circular dated December 18, Samagra Shiksha, a society under the Education Department, announced an extensive survey from January 1 to January 15. The survey will focus on identifying OoSC, including children with special needs (CwSN) and those with disabilities, for enrollment in nearby schools. CBSE claims rise in pass percentage of CWSN students confirming progressive trajectory – Times of India

Whereas CWSN candidates had a pass percentage of 92.63% and 87.23% in class X and XII board results, respectively.
