Goa schools' academic year to begin in April instead of June with the implementation of the NEP in the state – The Times of India
PANAJI: Schools in Goa recorded around 90 per cent attendance on Monday, as the transition of the academic calendar from June to April commenced, an official said. Schools earlier reopened in June when the new academic year began, but have reopened in April now as per the Goa BJP government’s decision to prepone the academic year as part of the National Education Policy implemented in the coastal state.
