Enrollment in higher educational institutions up by 90 lakh since 2014 – Times of India
The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that approximately two crore female students are part of this total enrollment in higher educational institutions.He said that compared to 2014, there is a 31.6 per cent increase in the number of female students studying presently.Pradhan said that, in 2014, the total enrollment of students in higher education was 3.42 crore, representing 23 per cent.However, as per the survey for 2021-22, the enrollment has increased to 4.32 crore, constituting 28 per cent.As per a report of Education Ministry, there is a substantial growth in the resources of higher education institutions compared to previous ...
