Karnataka government limits degree programs to three years – Times of India

BENGALURU: The Karnataka government issued a government order on Wednesday restricting the degree programmes in the state to three years.The UG programmes will not have the option of a fourth year degree programme, as was introduced by the National Education Policy in 2021. The fourth year was optional earlier in the NEP scheme as well. The Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka had declared the Pre-University Certificate (PUC) first year exam result on Saturday, 30 April.  The candidates who wrote the PUC 1 exam can check the result on the official website- result.dkpucpa.com.  Over 6.8 lakh (6,84,255) students are appearing in their Pre-University Certificate (PUC) second-year exam starting from Friday, 22 April. ‘All preparations made’: K’taka min on PU exams to be held from 22 Apr- 18 May

BENGALURU : The preparations for the second year pre-university exams to be conducted from 22 April to 18 May are in place including security arrangements, said Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister B C Nagesh on Tuesday.
