Explained: NCERT’s proposal to include class 9th to 11th marks in class 12th report cards – Times of India
PARAKH (Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development), a unit within NCERT focussed on standardising assessments across school boards in India, has proposed that Class 12 report cards should reflect student performance through a combination of examination results and ongoing classwork from three different academic years.PARAKH sent this report to the Union Education Ministry in July outlining a proposal for assessing a student’s overall performance in Class 9, 10, and 11 while preparing their Class 12th results.
