New School Timings Implemented in Srinagar to Combat Rising Temperatures – Times of India
SRINAGAR: Schools across Srinagar are gearing up for a significant schedule alteration set to commence from May 6th, 2024. The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has announced revised timings in response to the onset of warmer weather conditions and longer daylight hours.Previously, classes in both government and privately recognized schools within the municipal limits commenced at 9:00 am and concluded at 3:00 pm.However, under the new directives, schools will initiate their daily sessions at 8:30 am and adjourn by 2:30 pm.
