KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said she has the highest regard for the judiciary but could not accept the Supreme Court’s verdict invalidating the appointments of 25,753 teachers and other staff in state-run schools. NEET UG 2024: Candidates demand re-exam for all, deeper probe into alleged irregularities | – Times of India
NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that the scorecards of 1,563 candidates who received “grace marks” in the 2024 National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) will be cancelled. These candidates, who were awarded grace marks to compensate for the lost time during the NEET-UG, will be given the opportunity to reappear for the exam.The re-examination is scheduled for June 23, with results expected before June 30.A bench comprising Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta heard the NTA’s announcement that a committee has been formed to review the results of these candidates.
