The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) application form at upsc.gov.in on Wednesday. Candidates can fill out their form to appear in the examination.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) commenced the online application process for the 2024 Civil Services Examinations (CSE). The available vacancies for UPSC CSE 2024 amount to 1,056, with an additional 150 seats designated for the Indian Forest Services (IFoS) this year.
Prospective candidates are invited to submit applications for the Civil Services Preliminary examination (UPSC CSE Prelims 2024) starting on Wednesday. Additionally, applicants can enroll for the Indian Forest Services (IFS) Prelims through the CSE platform.

The deadline for submitting applications for the UPSC CSE 2024 examination is March 5. Notably, there has been a significant reduction in vacancies compared to the UPSC CSE 2023 edition. Interested individuals are encouraged to review the notification for comprehensive information on eligibility criteria, the selection process, age relaxation policies, and the necessary steps for form completion.
The Commission has established a designated period of 7 days (a week), starting from the day following the Examination Date and concluding at 6:00 p.m. on the 7th day, for candidates to submit representations to the Commission regarding the questions posed in the Examination Papers. Submissions through email, postal services, hand delivery, or any alternative methods will not be entertained, and the Commission will not engage in any correspondence with candidates on this matter. It is emphasized that no representations will be accepted beyond this 7-day timeframe under any circumstances.
