The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is under fire for the technical glitches, answer sheet mismatch and allegations of rigged tender over the On-Screen Marking (OSM) for the evaluation of 2026 Class 12 board exam results, has retained Hyderabad-based Coempt Eduteck for scanning answer sheets during the ongoing re-evaluation process. Tamil Nadu: Dalit student who survived caste-based attack scores 78% in Class 12

A Dalit student who survived a caste-based attack in 2023 in Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli district has proven his academic excellence by scoring 78 per cent in the Class 12 Tamil Nadu Board exam. Chinnadurai, a 17-year-old belonging to the Scheduled Caste, nearly abandoned his intention to complete his Class 12 after becoming a victim of caste violence in August last year. Class 10, 12 board exams: Students can appear twice from 2025-26, says minister

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said Class 10 and 12 students will get an option of appearing for board examinations twice a year from the academic session 2025-26.The minister said the move has been made to reduce academic stress. India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisages biannual board exams to provide students with ample opportunities to excel academically.
