New Delhi, The University of Delhi has increased the passing criteria for promotion to the next year from 50 percent to 63 percent for all undergraduate courses, officials said. As a result, undergraduate students at all DU colleges must now achieve a total of 63 percent in their first and second semesters to qualify for promotion.However, students representing DU in sports, extracurricular activities, the National Cadet Corps (NCC), the National Service Scheme (NSS), and other similar activities may be exempt from this requirement, pending approval from their college’s competent authority.
