Delhi education minister vows fair EWS admissions, asks parents to report discrepancies – The Times of India

NEW DELHI: Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood on Monday said parents can directly file complaints with him if any irregularities are found in Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota admissions. According to an official statement, the document verification process for EWS admissions is currently underway. As of now, 6,192 documents have been verified for students selected through the draw of lots conducted on March 5. The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) will conduct the first draw of lots for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) category for the 2025-26 academic session today, March 5, 2025. According to the official notification, the computerised draw will take place at 2:30 PM at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Education, Old Secretariat, Delhi – 110054.
