Bengaluru: Azim Premji Foundation has committed to giving ₹2,250 crore over three years to help more girls complete their college education, making it the country’s largest direct benefit transfer scheme by a not-for-profit private entity. Under the initiative, a girl who has completed her standard X and XII from a government school can apply for the Azim Premji scholarship. Billionaire and philanthropist Azim Premji’s eponymous foundation, Azim Premji Foundation, would give ₹30,000 a year to up to 2.5 lakh girl students. जयपुर। मान द वैल्यू फाउंडेशन ने सरकारी स्कूल के बच्चों के साथ दीपावली मनाई। बच्चों को मिठाई वितरित की गई। फाउंडेशन की संरक्षिका मनीषा सिंह ने बताया कि फाउंडेशन ने राया फाउंडेशन के साथ मिलकर जरूरतमंद बच्चों को मिठाई और सामान उपहार स्वरूप दिए। मनीषा ने बताया कि ये सभी जगतपुरा के आसपास के रहने वाले जगतपुरा स्थित महात्मा गांधी सरकारी स्कूल के बच्चे हैं। इस बार दिवाली पर 150 बच्चों को उपहार देने का लक्ष्य रखा है।
