UPSC 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday published the notification for the Civil Services Exam (CSE) and Indian Forest Service Exam (IFS) for the year 2025. Interested candidates can access the notice at the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. UPSC 2025: 1129 vacancies The Commission is inviting applications for a total of 1129 vacancies. Among the total, 979 are for CSE while the remaining 150 are for IFS. The registration window opened on January 22 and the online application portal closes on February 11, 2025, at 6:00 pm. New Delhi: The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed a penalty of ₹3 lakh on Sriram’s IAS, a coaching institute, for making misleading claims about the results of the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022. The CCPA’s action follows complaints that the coaching institute’s advertisements suggested a higher success rate than the actual case. Coaching institutes often make exaggerated claims about the success rate of their students by including candidates who have not even taken a paid class or used other paid facilities of the coaching institute. The Union Public Service Commission is likely to declare the final results of the Civil Service Examinations 2023 soon, though no official confirmation has been made by the UPSC in this regard so far. UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to release notification and start the registration process for the Civil Services Preliminary examination (UPSC CSE Prelims 2024) on Wednesday (February 14). The notification will be available on UPSC websites – upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in. The registrations for Indian Forest Services (IFS) Preliminary exam through Civil Services examination (CSE) will also start today.
