RAIPUR: Brijmohan Agrawal, Chhattisgarh’s School Education Minister, requested on Thursday that the Centre open Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in all districts of the state, officials said. According to sources, Agrawal made the request during a meeting with Union Cabinet Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi.He also urged the Union minister to hike the Centre’s share in the Union government-sponsored schemes related to his departments, the officials said.During the meeting, Agrawal told Pradhan that of the 33 districts in Chhattisgarh, Navodaya Vidyalayas and Kendriya Vidyalayas, run by the Centre, have been approved in ... CHANDIGARH: The state government informed the assembly on Wednesday that by March, no government school in Punjab will have a single or no teachers. Before the Bhagwant Mann dispensation took over in March 2022, 3,500 state-run schools were either teacherless or working with a single teacher, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said during Question Hour on the final day of the assembly’s two-day session.“Now, the number of such schools is less than 600.
