NEW DELHI: Delhi’s Higher Education Minister Atishi has instructed the secretary (higher education) to launch an investigation into the purported irregularities within the 12 colleges of Delhi University funded by the government, as per officials. Atishi highlighted “significant procedural irregularities,” revealing that the colleges had made appointments for 1,897 positions (939 teaching and 958 non-teaching) without obtaining the necessary approval from the Delhi government. “Major procedural irregularities have surfaced.
