The University of Delhi issued a notice announcing the revision of the undergraduate admission upgrade round schedule. According to a press release issued on September 4, the ‘acceptance’ window for the upgraded allocations and Round-I results for Performance-Based Programs, CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces Personnel), ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities), Sports, and Ward Quota has been extended. Delhi University’s academic session 2024-25 is beginning today, August 29. As classes for the first semester commence around three weeks later than usual, the admission process is still ongoing. The central university announced the Second Round of allocations to the Undergraduate Programmes in various Colleges on Sunday. According to the notice issued on August 25, candidates who have been shortlisted in Round-II can submit the fees till 4:59 PM on Friday, August 30. The University Grants Commission (UGC) on Thursday, August 1, granted central universities permission to conduct their own entrance exams or admit students on the basis of marks in the qualifying exam if seats remain vacant in undergraduate and postgraduate courses after admissions through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). However, the CUET scores will remain the primary criteria for the admission process, the UGC said. The commission emphasised that students who appeared in CUET may be considered irrespective of the domain subject papers in which they appeared. Delhi University admission 2024: Delhi University issued a notification announcing the opening of the ‘Correction Window’ for admission to undergraduate programmes from today, July 30. Candidates can edit their form and make corrections via the “one-time facility” till 11:59 p.m. on August 4.
