नई दिल्ली: केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने मंगलवार को सदन को बताया कि पिछले दस सालों में देश में स्कूल-कॉलेजों की संख्या बढ़ी है. बच्चों में कई अच्छी आदतों में इजाफा होने के साथ विभिन्न क्लासों के पाठ्यक्रम, प्रवेश परीक्षा में बदलाव हुए हैं. शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि साल 2013-14 में बच्चों में हैंड वाश की आदतों में बढ़ोतरी हुई है. साल 2013-14 में यह 43.5% था जो अब  95% हो गया है. वहीं स्कूलों में प्लेग्राउंड की संख्या में 82प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई और लाइब्रेरी में 89% की. उन्होंने कहा कि कई पैरामीटर में क्वांटम जंप हुए हैं, ... New Delhi, The Central government has appointed over 40,000 individuals to vacant postions in the education sector over the past 4-5 years, according to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Speaking in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday, the education minister highlighted the introduction of the Professors of Practice (PoP) system, aimed at incorporating experienced industry professionals into higher academic institutions like IITs.These PoP appointments are “need-based” and not permanent positions. NEW DELHI: The Union education ministry on Monday notified guidelines for implementation of bagless days for classes 6-8 and making learning in schools more joyful, experiential and stress-free. NEW DELHI: A Delhi University committee investigating alleged “financial irregularities” in 12 Delhi government-funded colleges has ruled out any misappropriation of funds and said the colleges can continue with their affiliation with the university. The panel submitted its findings in a report that was presented in the 1270th meeting of the DU’s Executive Council convened on Saturday to approve and discuss some key decisions.The Executive Council (EC) is the university’s highest decision-making body. New Delhi: School students from across the country will get a chance to go on a seven-day study tour to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s school in Gujarat’s Vadnagar town, the Ministry of Education (MoE) said on Thursday. The ministry has launched an online portal for students who are interested in classes 9 to 12 to register and participate in the programme.
