Visa update: TOEFL scores are now valid for all Australian visa purposes

Scores for English language test TOEFL will now be considered valid for all Australian visa purposes, the Educational Testing Service (ETS) announced on Monday. The Australian Department of Home Affairs (DHA) put the TOEFL under review last July due to revisions being made to the test, and therefore, its scores were not accepted for visa purposes. ETS to soon start offering TOEFL as a personalised test: report

The Educational Testing Service (ETS) will soon start offering the English language test TOEFL as a personalised test depending upon individual requirements as well as the test takers’ background to make the assessment as unbiased as possible, said a report by PTI. Number of Indians taking TOEFL for secondary education abroad rises: report

The number of Indian test takers for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to pursue secondary education and certifications abroad has seen a gradual rise over the years, said a report by PTI citing data from the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Those taking the TOEFL test for immigration purpose has fallen, said the Princeton-based ETS, which conducts the TOEFL and Graduate Record Examination (GRE), as per the report.
