The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched the application window for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) aiming to gain approval for offering programs via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online formats, targeting the January–February 2027 academic session and beyond. Institutions can apply between September 1 and September 15, as per the UGC notice released on August 31. All submissions must be made online through the UGC Distance Education Bureau (DEB) portal.
