72% of DU students back fourth year under NEP 2020's FYUP, opt-out open till August 1 – Times of India
NEW DELHI: In an endorsement of Delhi University’s Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) under NEP 2020, nearly 72 per cent of eligible students have chosen to continue with the fourth year, Vice Chancellor Yogesh Singh said on Thursday.The university has kept the option to opt-out of the fourth year open until the commencement of the new academic session on August 1.“As of now, 20,221 students out of over 72,000 students have opted out, which means more than 50,000 students are continuing. Delhi University finalises committee recommendations on alleged irregularities in 12 government-funded colleges – Times of India
The University of Delhi announced on Thursday that it has accepted the findings of a report investigating alleged irregularities in 12 colleges fully funded by the Delhi government. The report, compiled by a 10-member committee, was unanimously approved in a historic joint meeting of the Academic Council (AC) and Executive Council (EC) under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh.This marked the first joint AC and EC meeting in DU‘s 102-year history.
