  Following the school bus accident in Haryana’s Mahendragarh, State Education Minister Seema Trikha on Thursday said that a show cause notice has been issued to the school and all private schools have to provide an affidavit that their vehicles function according to transport rules and norms.

AMARAVATI: Over 4.5 lakh government school students in Andhra Pradesh appeared for Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination on Wednesday, said an official. The students belonged to classes III to V from 13,104 schools across the state. “The TOEFL exam for classes 3rd to 5th was successfully conducted for 4,53,265 students in 13,104 schools. NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is initiating a pilot project for the National Credit Framework (NCrF) targeting classes 6, 9, and 11 starting this academic year. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, this framework integrates school, higher, and vocational education to enable students to accumulate credits from pre-primary to PhD levels.In a recent announcement, CBSE invited its affiliated schools to participate in this initiative.The board has developed draft guidelines for implementing the NCrF, which have received approval from the Ministry of Education.
