Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat, Odisha, Kerala, Haryana, Goa, Maharashtra, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu and Rajasthan recorded significant improvement in performance among all states and Union Territory (UTs) in the latest Performance Grading Index 2.0 report. The report published by Union Ministry of Education for 2022-23 and 2023-24 on Thursday details assessment of school education across various indicators, such as learning outcomes and infrastructure. Chandigarh recorded maximum improvement and achieved a score of 703 out of 1,000, corresponding to Prachesta 1 grade. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) marked the New Year by releasing 212 job vacancies for the post of Superintendent and Junior Assistant on New Year’s Eve. The application window opens today and will close by January 31. Interested candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of closing date of registration. नई दिल्ली: पूरे उत्तर भारत में ठंड का प्रकोप देखने को मिल रहा है. पंजाब में भी भीषण ठंड से लोग परेशान हैं. भगवंत मान (Bhagwant Maan) सरकार ने ठंड को देखते हुए कक्षा एक से पांच तक के स्कूलों को 20 जनवरी तक बंद रखने का आदेश दिया है. वहीं कक्षा 6 से 12 तक की कक्षाएं सोमवार से दिन के 10 बजे से 3 बजे तक चलाने का आदेश दिया है. बताते चलें कि इससे पहले मान सरकार ने 31 दिसंबर को 14 जनवरी तक स्कूल बंद रखने का फैसला लिया था.  यह भी पढ़ें पंजाब शीत लहर ... इस हादसे में एक बच्चे की जान चली गई. चंडीगढ़ : चंड़ीगढ़ के सेक्टर-9 स्थित कार्मल कॉन्वेंट स्कूल में शुक्रवार को बड़ा हुआ. यहां स्कूल परिसर में लगा एक विशाल पेड़ टूटकर गिर गया, जिसके चपेट में आने से एक छात्र की मौत हो गई. वहीं, कई अन्य बच्चे भी पेड़ की चपेट में आने से घायल हो गए हैं. यह भी पढ़ें
