MUMBAI: Mumbai University will be awarding 425 Ph D degrees during the annual convocation this year – a 15% increase from last year. The annual convocation is scheduled on February 7, where UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar will be the chief guest. The Educational Testing Service (ETS) will soon start offering the English language test TOEFL as a personalised test depending upon individual requirements as well as the test takers’ background to make the assessment as unbiased as possible, said a report by PTI.
