The University of Southampton, UK decided to have its India campus in Delhi NCR after much deliberation. Being the first foreign university to get a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the University Grant Commission (UGC), it aims to retain its international outlook. University Grant Commission Chairman M. Jagadesh Kumar on Monday announced that the normalisation of scores for the Common University Entrance Test-UG (CUET-UG) and the National Eligibility Test (NET) is being done away with from this year, news agency PTI reported. Speaking to PTI the UGC chairman said, “No normalisation of scores will be required this year since both exams will be conducted in a single shift for a subject.” It is important to note that students have been raising concerns about the normalisation of scores as it was “unfairly” impacting their performance in the examination. National Testing Agency (NTA) Monday said the Admit Card for applicants of UGC NET December 2023 has been made live at URL https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in and applicants whose examination is scheduled on 6th, 7th and 8th December, can now download their Admit Card from the NTA UGC website. The University Grant Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2023 exam city slip was released on December 2, 2023.
