NEW DELHI: On Tuesday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan dismissed the claim that the Preamble to the Constitution was removed from NCERT textbooks as unfounded. He accused Congress of exploiting this issue to advance a “politics of lies,” which shows the opposition party’s disgusting mentality. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has said that it will release the new syllabus and textbooks for classes 3 and 6 only, and there will be no change in the curriculum and textbooks for other classes for the Academic Year 2024-25 commencing from April 1. He further emphasised that the idea is to come out of the ‘colonial mindset’. “Our mindset is toned by colonial education. Now it is a new education system. New chapter.
