CHANDIGARH: The state government informed the assembly on Wednesday that by March, no government school in Punjab will have a single or no teachers. Before the Bhagwant Mann dispensation took over in March 2022, 3,500 state-run schools were either teacherless or working with a single teacher, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said during Question Hour on the final day of the assembly’s two-day session.“Now, the number of such schools is less than 600.
