In northern Scotland¸ hundreds of schools have been shut after a weather warning for snow and ice was extended until Friday. The Met Office has warned that snowfall could reach up to 10 cm in higher regions. The office has issued ‘Yellow’ warning for Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, the Highlands, Orkney and Shetland, as well as the Outer Hebrides. The yellow warning forecast took effect at 12:00 on Wednesday and is in place until 10 am on Friday. Delhi-NCR pollution: The air quality in the National Capital Region (NCR) has remained hazardous for nearly a month. However,it improved from the ‘severe’ to the ‘very poor’ category on Sunday morning. At 8 am, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 357, falling under the ‘very poor’ category, compared to the 24-hour average AQI of 412 at 4 pm on Saturday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. However, Anand Vihar remained in the ‘severe’ category with an AQI of 404. New advertising guidelines that have laid down strictures against false claims can bring the shutters down on many coaching schools. Coaching centres now can’t just claim to have a hand in the success story of a student—first they must tick boxes. Mint explains.   What do the new guidelines say? जयपुर। शिक्षा विभाग में अधिशेष 37 हजार शिक्षकों के समायोजन की प्रक्रिया 18 सितम्बर से शुरू होगी, जो 25 सितम्बर को पूरी होगी। इससे शिक्षकों को काफी फायदा मिलेगा। इन अधिशेष शिक्षकों के समायोजन के लिए प्रारंभिक और माध्यमिक दोनों शिक्षा निदेशकों के संयुक्त हस्ताक्षर से निर्देश जारी किए हैं। इसको लेकर शिक्षकों की ओर से लंबे समय से मांग की जा रही थी। माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग के निदेशक आशीष मोदी ने कहा कि समायोजन की प्रक्रिया को लेकर विभाग ने पूरी तैयारी कर ली है, जिसकी शुरुआत 18 सितंबर से की जाएगी, जो 25 सितंबर तक पूरी होगी।  राजस्थान ...
