The state universities in Bihar continue to follow the old pattern of education that combines intermediate (class XI and XII) with degree colleges. RAIPUR: On Monday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced that starting from the academic session 2025-26, students will have the opportunity to take their 10th and 12th class board examinations twice a year. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said Class 10 and 12 students will get an option of appearing for board examinations twice a year from the academic session 2025-26.The minister said the move has been made to reduce academic stress. India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 envisages biannual board exams to provide students with ample opportunities to excel academically. NEW DELHI: On Wednesday, President Droupadi Murmu stated that government initiatives have reduced the nation’s dropout rate and increased the number of girls enrolled in higher education. MUMBAI: Mumbai University will be awarding 425 Ph D degrees during the annual convocation this year – a 15% increase from last year. The annual convocation is scheduled on February 7, where UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar will be the chief guest.
