नई दिल्ली: केंद्र सरकार ने बताया है कि 2021-22 के दौरान देश में कुल 10 लाख 22 हजार 386 स्कूल काम कर रहे थे. इस बात की जानकारी केंद्र सरकार ने सोमवार को लोकसभा में पूछे गए एक सवाल के जवाब में दी. शिक्षा राज्यमंत्री जयंत चौधरी ने कांग्रेस के हिबी ईडन के सवाल के जवाब में यह जानकारी दी. उन्होंने बताया कि 2021-22 के दौरान देश में कुल तीन लाख 58 हजार 44 प्राइवेट स्कूल चल रहे थे. उन्होंने बताया कि उस दौरान देश में वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों की संख्या 82 हजार 480 थी. साल 2021-22 तक देश ... Delhi-NCR pollution: The air quality in the National Capital Region (NCR) has remained hazardous for nearly a month. However,it improved from the ‘severe’ to the ‘very poor’ category on Sunday morning. At 8 am, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 357, falling under the ‘very poor’ category, compared to the 24-hour average AQI of 412 at 4 pm on Saturday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board. However, Anand Vihar remained in the ‘severe’ category with an AQI of 404. President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday appointed Mazhar Asif as the vice chancellor of the Jamia Millia Islamia, according to Union Ministry of Education officials. Asif is currently a professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University’s (JNU) School of Languages. “The president, in her capacity as the visitor of Jamia Millia Islamia, has appointed Professor Mazhar Asif, School of Languages, JNU, as the vice chancellor of Jamia for five years from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier,” a ministry official said.
